  On 11/2, a cashier's boyfriend stood in the checkout line talking with her. When i went to check out, instead of moving out of the line, he stood even with me while i checked out which made me completely uncomfortable especially since the pin pad for the credit card machine was visible to him as i entered my pin. On 11/3, a group of managers were hanging out instead of assisting their checkers who all had huge lines. When a manager was needed to complete my checkout, they didn't even notice the flashing sign signifying the checker needed their help even though they stood in a group about 15 feet away. The customer service department was slammed while the managers stood around and did not help until the 1 person at the department had to call over to one of them while she juggled a complicated transaction and phone calls. In October, i tried to place a catering order and was told to wait a week because they were worried they would lose my order. I've been a loyal hyvee shopper for years, but they recently don't have their stuff together and I'm glad I'm moving out of town so i don't have to deal with this mess anymore.
