  I will never return to Providence Urgent Care. My husband had a injury fall from 5 foot onto a concrete floor. His pain level was about a 10. He pain was not addressed. He was told he didn't have rib fractures but to go home and rest. The only exam that the doctor performed was listening to his chest. I had to ask the doctor what was the diagnosis and discharge instructions. I have never been to a clinic where you don't get written discharge instructions and details of the visit. Later that day we ended up at the ER because of his pain and SOB. I feel if this would of been addressed properly at Urgent Care it would of prevented a high cost ER visit that duplicated services. Patient's that have X-rays should be given a copy in case they have to have follow up care elsewhere.I'm a nurse in a family practice clinic and there is a difference between acute and chronic pain. Acute pain from a injury needs to be treated appropriately My husbands PCP couldn't understand that he wasn't given some kind of medication for his injuries. I also feel the music is to loud for a healthcare setting, especially when they are playing rock music. We visited Broadway Urgent Care over the summer with a injury my son received and had a completely different encounter. Wanted to return to Broadway Urgent Care but they don't open until 1 on Sundays and we couldn't wait that long.Check in person and the nurse were pleasant.
